Humble Beginnings refers to a mix of common, aromatic vegetables that almost every cuisine in the world uses as a base for recipes. The mix creates a depth of flavor and complexity that defines the particular food. These 'beginnings' sometimes differ and may have additional ingredients due to family tradition, taste preferences, and region.
There are 6 drawings in the series. My medium is colored pencil on watercolor paper and the size is 14x11in. The video shows my process for this series.
